Certified Wealth Preservation Planner (CWPP)

Searching for CWPP™ training? Then you've come to the right place!

ABTrainingCenter.com offers CWPP™ training and certification courses for those individuals interested in earning the prestigious Certified Wealth Preservation Planner designation.

The Certified Wealth Preservation Planner (CWPP™) designation is the undisputed professional credential for persons who advise clients on personal wealth management issues related to asset preservation and distribution.

The CWPP™ designation signifies that an individual working in this field has attained comprehensive knowledge of the following subject matter: Deferred Compensation, Estate Planning, Life Settlements, Reverse Mortgages, IRA Planning, VEBAs, Charitable Planning, Qualified Plans, Life Insurance and Annuities, plus more.

Curriculum

Candidates must complete a 24-hour educational course (either in person or through online education) on the topics presented above, among others (for a more comprehensive review of the curriculum of the CWPP™ program, please click here to review the full course outline). The course is focused on the overall topic of wealth preservation.

Examination Requirements

Candidates must pass a 240-question multiple choice online examination and a three (3) question essay examination. The student will have to pass the multiple choice examination with a pass rate of at least 70%. The CWPP™ program will put significant weight towards the multiple choice test when determining if an advisor ultimately passes the overall examination.

The examinations will all have time limits and are all open book. Candidates will be required to sign a sworn statement that they did not receive help from other individuals on both the multiple choice or essay portions of the test.

Continuing Education Requirements

Candidates are required to pass a three (3) question open-book essay test every three years to maintain their CWPP™ certification.
